Did the teacher who gave you the assignment teach you about the research process? Or was it the school librarian? Or both? What sources do you remember using? Encyclopedias? Books? Articles? The Internet? Other sources? As you did with the last writing prompt, describe the research process you went through. Did you enjoy it? Hate it? Find it fun? Find it boring? Find it tedious? My very first research paper was in elementary school. I think i was in the 4th or 5th grade. I dont really remember what i learned or what i did the research paper. No i didnt choose the topic i had to write about. Both the librarian and the teacher wanted us to work on the topic to see what information we could found on our own.The sources i remember using is encyclopedias mostly and some books.I found it boring and tedious at the same time.
Sorry to hear you found it boring - in fact so boring that you don't even remember doing it. This research project should be a lot more fun. Pick a topic that will sustain your interest over the rest of the semester.
